- A cause of the the heightened risk of high blood pressure in American Blacks is, in part, due to the middle passage, where the people (captured Africans) were not fed or hydrated properly (or even mercifully.) Those that survived the passage were the ones that were best able to retain water.

- for those of you not familiar with NYS geography, Peru is about 275 miles due north of NYC, right before the Canadian border. one would think that most wild boars (and other swine) would be in the capital city, Albany, 150 miles due south.

- Portability of content is one thing, that's why we have the iPod. BUT, the standard High Fidelity (still the term for it) must be vinyl records and tube amplification. Solid state needs to "clip" when sound outside of the response window, where as analog equipment can "crunch" it into the window.
